The one in the basket is Charley.
There are three kittens altogether. They are named for the three
hurricanes that we had during the month that they were born.
They are very normal kittens who
have a healthy curiosity about everything and give their mama fits
as they all go in opposite directions exploring, while she runs to
and fro trying to keep track of them all. They love this basket
which is only large enough for one. This causes little tiny
wars as whoever is the first one into the basket defends their
claim while the other looks on enviously. The two girls (Charley &
Frances) are more inclined to the "basket wars", while Ivan goes
about his business elsewhere.
