Bamboo, Bambusa sp., a golden form, is native to China. They are famous for being rather large members of the grass family, and the variety near the cat drinking fountain would give a weed whacker fits. Our tour guides that stop at the cat drinking fountain right next to the bamboo reported that they have seen in grow about one foot during a 24-hours period. |
