Chris, Tour Guide, has lived in California, Massachusetts and now calls Key West his home. Chris says he loves this island and all the silly people on it that make him laugh. The best thing Chris likes about working at the Hemingway Home is being able to introduce our guests to some of the less known facts about the author and inspire them read or learn more when they return home.
We would like you to introduce you to our Staff. Simply click on the thumbnail pictures of each Staff Member to see a larger picture of each and read a short “bio” they have written to introduce themselves to you.
While you have the option of taking a guided tour of the museum or exploring the attraction on your own in a self-guided tour mode, we recommend taking the guided tour when visiting the Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum in Key West.
Guided tours are conducted about every 15 minutes from 9-5 daily, take about 30 minutes and though the tour will inform you of the overall life and times of Ernest Hemingway, the tours will mostly focus on the years Hemingway lived here in this house in Key West. Key artifacts, paintings, furnishings and architectural details will be identified on the guided tour.
With dozens of historic attractions in Key West you’ll find that this island prides itself in offering real tour guides that can respond to your questions and provide detailed information tailored to your interests.
